:)

Hey :) I’m Sivapriyan - welcome to my corner of the internet.

I’m a 2x entrepreneur currently building my next company out of Chennai, where I live with my MMA-fighting younger brother and our mom. Our home’s part gym, part war room, part M S Subbulakshmi, part Fred again. Depending on the hour, you’ll hear business calls, punching bags getting wrecked, or me playing DJ for no one in particular.

I used to chase acting - something about lighting up a room just felt right. But over time, I started asking myself if I loved the art or just the applause. Still don’t have an answer. But I figured if I’m going to give my energy to something every day, I’d rather build something real, something that lasts.

In past lives, I ran a social media marketing agency and tried to "make it" in ways that now feel like early chapters - necessary, messy, meaningful. What stayed constant was the need to create, lead, and live freely.

I’m spiritually grounded, will dance at the drop of a hat, and have a giant bunch of folks who I call my chosen family - we bond over travel, sports, gaming, and sharing notes on how mundane our dating lives are (always open to being surprised on the upside on this :p)

I’ve been lucky to explore places like Thailand, China, Germany, Hungary, Austria, and more - and honestly, my biggest motivation to do well at work is to unlock new corners of the map for me and my people.

I’ve learned I don’t want a life that’s perfect. I want one that’s cinematic - with tension, depth, joy, and maybe a few well-earned montages. Not everything needs a five-year plan. Some things just need a full tank, a one-way ticket, or a good playlist.

Here’s what I’m building:

Here’s a non exhaustive list of media that I can pinpoint and say has had a noteworthy impact on my consciousness:

Curious case of Benjamin Button

Fight Club

Lion King

Interstellar

Jordan Peterson - 12 Rules for Life

We are the people - Empires of the sun

Cars

Anbe Sivam

Mahabharatham

Annamalai

Enigma - The Child in us

Always down to meeting and jamming with interesting folks. You miss all the shots you don’t take. Email me :) isivapriyan [at] gmail . com
